- Time of day will affect the numbers and behaviours of pedestrians.
- Niko Bellic is not Russian but there are Russian gangs involved.
- The player will be able to climb telegraph poles, fire escapes and enter skyscrapers (and throw people off them).
- GTA IV will feature a lot more interiors and enter/leaving them will proceed without any loading times.
- Car physics and character handling has been significantly improved.
- You can steal cars by breaking the window to enter it and hotwiring it to get it running.
